What We Stand For

In our work at Rose, Raven & Roar™, we’re invested in the deepest root cause of relationship pattern shift, from harm-based to reciprocal and life-giving.

In an ever-evolving effort to do this, we take a micro-macro approach. We believe that along with inner somatic and attachment patterns, we must equally participate in shifting macro relationship patterns (colonization, white supremacy, fundamentalism, purity culture, etc.).

We also fundamentally consider our disrupted attachment pattern with the Earth and with nature. Colonization has distorted our way of being in relationship, and this is reflected in how we relate to the land, shaped by disconnection, domination, and extraction rather than reciprocity. We believe that coming back into reciprocal relation with nature is critical to overal relationship repatterning.

We hold all of these lenses equally in our healing philosophy. Importantly, we hold it in the hand of one of our biggest values: non-perfection. Exiting the grips of complex trauma and power-over structures is messy, and we all have generations of conditioning. We’re gonna mess it up sometimes.

The only way to repattern is to mess up, and to stay in relationship at the same time (which is healing in itself!). To us, healing innately means that we’re expanding our capacity for differences, layers of complexity, relational mistakes, and the crucial process of rupture and repair. Survival-based relational patterns equal fear and exile. We think healing means remaining in care and connection when there’s messiness and disruption ❤️

As a practice space and community of relationship pattern healing, we stand for liberation, autonomy, and being in reciprocal, power-with relationship with ALL beings.

We make every, ever-evolving effort within Rose, Raven & Roar™ to be anti-racist, anti-ableist, gender affirming, queer-allied, anti-purity culture, anti-fundamentalist, and vegan/cruelty-free. We strive to maintain a warm, welcoming, inclusive space for all bodies, sexual orientations, faith traditions, and cultural backgrounds.

We value and hold deep & wide space for complexity, nuance, differences, and the important relational process of rupture and repair, knowing that freeing ourselves from systems of oppression will not be clean or easy. In essence, we are anti-perfection and welcome mistakes.

This said, any type of abusive, bullying, or oppressive behavior will never be tolerated within any of our containers or spaces.
